So this book is the third and final in the Testing trilogy. If you want to see the review of the first book, click here.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, I really liked the second book, but this book was probably my least favorite out of them all. It was still good, just not the best.

So one problem that I had with this book was the ending when everything gets revealed and we find out that everything was set up and all these characters who we thought were on one side were actually on another and. . . it was just too much. It was kind of confusing to be honest because I couldn’t keep track of which characters were good, which were bad, and what these characters’ alterior motives actually were.

Another thing that I didn’t like was the very very end when after Cia finally gets to go home with Tomas and life is good, she decides that she doesn’t want to stay home and she wants to back to Tosu City where this whole mess started in the first place!!! So the ending isn’t very satisfying and it doesn’t really offer the closure that I would have liked to have.

Other than those two things, this book was still really great. The plot was exciting, action-packed, and it wasn’t at all boring. Also, I was so so happy that Cia stopped making so many references to her life lessons learned as a child. The two other previous books did this an outrageous amount of times and it was SO annoying! So I was very happy that the author chilled on that a bit.

So with that being said, I am giving this book a 3.8 out of 5 stars!

Even though it’s not perfect, I highly recommend this series, especially to any Hunger Games fans out there!!!

Thanks guys! xoxo
